We store your data securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS). All personal data and media files are encrypted both at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption methods. We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Facial Recognition Data

If you opt into our facial recognition feature, we will collect, store, and use biometric information (such as facial data) to help you find photos of yourself. This data will only be used to provide personalized services and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent. You can opt out of this feature at any time.

Sharing of Media Files

When you upload media files (photos, videos, audio) to our App, these files may be shared with other event participants based on the event settings. You have control over what content you upload and share, and you may request the deletion of media files through your account settings.

Payment Information

We use third-party payment processors to handle all transactions securely. We do not store your credit card or payment details on our servers. All payment information is handled securely by our payment processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Tracking and Analytics

We use Google Firebase for analytics to better understand how you use our App and to improve our services. Firebase may collect information such as app usage data, device information, and user demographics. Firebase uses identifiers for mobile devices (such as Android Advertising ID or Advertising Identifier for iOS). You can opt out of Firebase Analytics through your device settings or as described in the Firebase privacy policy.

User Responsibilities and Prohibited Content

By using our App, you agree that you are solely responsible for the content you upload. You must not upload any media or content that:

  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations, including intellectual property laws.
  • Contains illegal, harmful, or objectionable content, such as child exploitation, violent or abusive material, or content that promotes hatred or discrimination.
  • Infringes on the rights of others, including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable. If we become aware of any illegal content, we may report it to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and cooperate with any investigation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapstream.io and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App.
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted to or through the App by any third party.

In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you have paid to Snapstream.io in the twelve (12) months preceding any claim.

Children’s Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that we have collected such information, please contact us at privacy@snapstream.io so we can promptly remove the data.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and Correction: You can access and update your personal information through your account settings.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving promotional communications by following the instructions in those communications.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
